Dol Ashram Ultra Marathon 2026 – 2nd Edition
A Himalayan trail race at Dol Ashram, Almora, part of the Shri Kalyanika Yoga Festival.
The Shri Kalyanika Himalayan Yoga Festival & Dol Ashram Ultra Marathon returns for its second edition, set against the Himalayan foothills of Almora, Uttarakhand, at Shri Kalyanika Himalaya Devasthanam (Dol Ashram). It is a three-day celebration of wellness, fitness, spirituality, nature, and community, built around the theme Awaken, Connect, Transform.
From 2 to 3 October 2026, participants experience authentic Himalayan yoga traditions, meditation, wellness workshops, cultural performances, and village experiences, closing with the marathon on 4 October 2026. You can register for the marathon on its own, or join the full festival.
Registration, welcome, and the inaugural ceremony
Vedic chanting, Himalayan Hatha yoga, breathwork and pranayama, guided meditation, and sound healing
Evening aarti, a traditional Kumaoni dinner, bonfire, folk music, storytelling, and a community circle
Sunrise yoga, meditation, wellness workshops, and interactive panel discussions

Sunset kirtan, a cultural evening with folk dance, open mic, stargazing, and a fire circle meditation
Warm-up session and flag-off ceremony, followed by the marathon events

Prize distribution, a tree plantation, certificate distribution, and the closing ceremony

Marathon only (4 October): register for your preferred category at the fees listed above.
Marathon plus dormitory stay: for participants travelling from outside the area, the Ashram dormitory package adds a Saturday night stay, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast for ₹2,000 per person, on top of your marathon registration. For example, a 21 KM registration (₹1,500) plus the dormitory package (₹2,000) comes to ₹3,500 total.
Premium room stay: a limited number of private rooms are available, subject to availability: single occupancy at ₹8,000 per person per night, double occupancy at ₹5,000 per person per night, and triple occupancy at ₹3,500 per person per night.

Participants are responsible for maintaining the Ashram premises; damage to property will be charged to the participant
Participants must ensure they are medically fit, and participation is entirely at the participant's own risk
Medical support is available throughout the event
The organisers reserve the right to withdraw any participant on medical advice
Participants must follow the official route; race officials' decisions are final
Any malpractice or misconduct may result in disqualification
Littering within the Ashram or race route is strictly prohibited
By registering, participants grant the organisers permission to use photographs and videos captured during the event for promotional and marketing purposes without additional consent or compensation. The organisers, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and venue authorities aren't liable for any injury, illness, accident, theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings before, during, or after the event. The organisers also reserve the right to modify the route, schedule, venue, cut-off timings, or categories in the interest of participant safety or due to unavoidable circumstances.
Registrations for this event, including accommodation add-ons, are not refundable. If you're unable to participate, you may transfer your registration to a future edition of this event instead. Contact the organizer with a valid reason before the event date to arrange a transfer. If the event is postponed or cancelled due to weather, government restrictions, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the organisers' control, registrations will be transferred to a future edition.
